Overview

Adolescent fentanyl overdose has rapidly escalated into a critical public health and school safety issue. While New York State and NYC policies authorize and mandate naloxone access in schools, most schools remain operationally unprepared to respond effectively to overdose emergencies.

This project addressed a core strategy challenge: How to translate policy authorization into scalable, school-level readiness.

My Role

  • Led the product from early concept through development and production, working across hardware, software, and industrial design.

  • Defined product requirements based on clinical use cases, and coordinated engineers, designers, and manufacturers to ensure feasibility and delivery.

  • Drove key decisions around system architecture, usability, and manufacturability under real-world constraints.

  • Filed and supported two patents covering the integrated capture arm and system design.
