AI-Powered Healthcare Platform

In rural Ethiopia, over 80% of the population has never seen a specialist. The infrastructure exists, but most telemedicine solutions require smartphones, internet access, and digital literacy that the majority don't have. The result is millions of patients diagnosed with chronic conditions like hypertension and diabetes who are then lost to follow-up, with no system built to keep them in care.

OrbitHub is a telemedicine platform designed around that gap. It coordinates specialist care through AI triage, point-of-care diagnostics, and staffed access centers — so the patient walks in, gets assessed, and connects to a specialist without needing a phone or any digital skill. The platform is live and was presented at the Harvard Social Innovation Lab.

I led the product development and strategy design, shaping how patients, operators, and specialists interact across the system.
